| It
all begins with an idea expressed visually via the computer and today's
high-powered graphics programs. |
Three
state-of-the-art plotters cut the letters or graphics from rolls of
pressure sensitive vinyl for application to the sign surface. |
| After
plotting, the excess vinyl is "weeded" away to leave the
letters or graphic. |
Before the vinyl
graphics can be transferred to the sign surface, a masking is added
to keep each element pre-spaced for easy transfer to the final product.
A thermal printing
process allows a design of multiple colors to be digitally printed
onto pressure sensitive vinyl for a finished product that is water
proof and UV resistant.
